View the changing colours of Uluru at sunset while enjoying wine and nibbles before indulging in a delicious BBQ dinner and stargazing. Watch the sun rise and join a local guide on an interpretive walk at the base of Uluru. Walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout at Kata Tjuta and climb to the rim of Kings Canyon.

 

Arrive in Alice Springs, third largest town in the Northern Territory.  You will explore the countryside, rich with mountain ranges, waterholes and gorges, which create a variety of natural habitats. Travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges to Ayers Rock Resort. Visit Kata Tjuta  before sunset at Uluru and enjoy an exclusive Aussie BBQ.  Join your guide as you explore the majestic canyons with a fantastic landscape.  There are a variety of activities you can choose to participate in like a  guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon for views of Watarrka National Park, or perhaps  take an easier walk along the canyon floor. Later, travel on to Alice Springs where you will soak up the sunset and relax while you take in spectacular views. Perfect for those wanting to escape for a short getaway, or to try something different and exciting.

VIEW ITINERARY

Day 1: Welcome to Alice Springs

On arrival in Alice Springs you will be transferred to your hotel (flights to arrive prior to 12 noon). See the sights including the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the School of Air and Alice Springs Reptile Centre. Top off your tour with a visit to Anzac Hill for panoramic views over Alice Springs and the surrounding ranges.

Day 2: Alice Springs – Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Uluru Barbecue Dinner

Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Kings Canyon

Join a member of the local Anangu people for an exclusive Uluru sunrise experience. After breakfast at the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, immerse yourself in local culture as you gather around a campfire, and then join your Indigenous guide for an interpretive walk at the base of Uluru.
Travel to Kings Canyon.

Day 4: Kings Canyon – Alice Springs
