Day 1: Depart LAX

Day 3: Arrive Melbourne
Welcome to Australia! On arrival in Melbourne, you will be transferred to your hotel. Join your Australian Tour Director on a city sights tour including a private walk through Melbourne’s famous hidden laneways.
Stay Two Nights: Crowne Plaza, Melbourne

Day 4: Melbourne at Leisure
Spend today as you wish. You may consider an Optional Experience to the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island or perhaps a trip along the spectacular Great Ocean Road.

Day 5: Melbourne – Cairns
This morning you’ll fly to Cairns. Visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, a celebration of the living history of the Indigenous people of the rainforest. Join an Aboriginal guide for a fun introduction to Indigenous art and see how Aboriginal culture is expressed in their artwork. Complete your own boomerang dot painting, which you can take home as a memento of your experience.
Stay Two Nights: Hilton Hotel, Cairns

Day 6: Great Barrier Reef
This morning encounter unique Australian animals at the Cairns Wildlife Dome. Later, board a high speed catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. See coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and semi-submersible craft. There is the opportunity to go snorkelling and view this natural living wonder up close (equipment provided). Enjoy a buffet lunch before returning to Cairns.

Day 7: Cairns – Sydney
This morning you’ll fly to Sydney. On arrival there’s time to relax at your hotel or explore this exciting city before boarding a Captain Cook Sunset Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a contemporary two course a la carte meal and the mesmerising views of Sydney at night. You’ll pass magnificent waterfront homes, beaches and parklands and all the main harbour attractions including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Stay Three Nights: Four Points by Sheraton, Darling Harbour, Sydney

Day 8: Sydney
Prepare yourself this morning for the spectacular views on the cliff-top coastal walk from Tamarama Beach. The walk features stunning vistas, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. Your destination is famous Bondi Beach for an iconic Australian experience. You’ll be greeted by a local surf lifesaver before lunch at an Aussie institution, the Returned Servicemen’s Club, with its views over the sparkling Pacific Ocean. Your host will take you on an exclusive tour through Australia’s oldest surf lifesaving club where you’ll learn about the history of Bondi and surf lifesaving. Later, return to the city to visit the Royal Botanic Gardens and see panoramic harbour views from Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. Top off this highlight day on a tour of the iconic Sydney Opera House with a local guide.

Day 9: Sydney at Leisure
Explore the beautiful harbour city of Sydney further. Make the most of your day and take an Optional Experience to the Blue Mountains. Gather together this evening to celebrate your vacation at a farewell dinner with your Tour Director and new-found friends at Darling Harbour.

Day 10: Sydney – USA
Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast. You’ll be transferred to Sydney Airport for your onward flight.
