Culture, tradition, arts and crafts and local hospitality make the Cook Islands come alive!  Rarotonga is the largest of the fifteen islands, with white sand beaches and a high mountainous interior, encircled by a protective reef and lagoon. Enjoy four nights discovering the island, or perhaps, just kick back on the beach and relax! Travel overnight to Sydney.  Visit the Sydney Opera House and enjoy a show or admire the view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and the bustling waterfront area.  Wander around the historic Rocks and Circular Quay – an historic precinct complete with art galleries, cafes and a weekend market.

Take a road-trip to the Blue Mountains National Park or the Hunter Valley Wine Region.  Enjoy a day at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach. You will arrive in Auckland, otherwise known as the ‘City of Sails’ and offers pretty much close to every activity that you could wish for:  from high-speed America’s Cup racing yacht to a casual cruise on the harbor. In Auckland, absorb the area’s history and admire the magnificent traditional Maori carvings that stand guard. Experience Auckland’s unique cultural heritage with the Auckland Maori Tour and hear stories of Maori people, learn about the language and see some of Auckland’s very best sights.

This evening make your way to the Los Angeles International Airport for your overnight flight to Rarotonga.

 

Mon: Arrive in Rarotonga

Welcome to the Cook Islands! After you clear Immigration & Customs, collect your luggage and receive a warm welcome to the Island with a fresh flower Lei. You will then be transferred your hotel where you will be staying for the next four nights.

 

Tue – Thu: Rarotonga

For the next three day enjoy Rarotonga on your time and maybe try the island buses for an exploitative trip around the island.

 

Fri: Fly to Sydney

This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Sydney. During your flight you will cross the International Date Line.

 

Sat: Arrive in Sydney

This evening you will arrive in Sydney, Australia. After you clear Immigration & Customs collect your luggage and make you way to your accommodation where you will be staying for the next four nights.

 

Sun – Tue: Sydney
