    Le Sauvage Private Island is a one-hour boat ride from its sister property, the Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa. The resort is comprised of five Polynesian-style bungalows with exotic wood and bamboo furnishings. The restaurant is in a beachside bungalow, and serves Tahitian cuisine and plenty of seafood. The adjacent lounge provides couches for relaxing with an evening cocktail.

    The resort uses very limited electricity, encouraging guests to rely on lanterns and the moonlight.
