This 11-day air-inclusive vacation tours the paradise of the Tahitian Islands from volcanic Moorea to iconic Bora Bora.
Located around eight hours from Los Angeles, Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia. It has been a popular destination for westerners since Captain James Cook visited in the mid-eighteenth century.
Moorea is only 10 nautical miles from Tahiti. Less touristy than the French Polynesian capital, the island is the pride of French Polynesia. Formed by a volcanic eruption almost two million years ago, Moorea is a stunning collection of jagged mountaintops and white sand beaches. Hike one of Moorea’s eight mountain peaks, from rugged Mount Rotui with its amazing view of the bay, to Mount Tohivea, a dormant volcano and the highest point on the island. Windsurf through the warm waters of the island’s lagoons or take in a traditional performance at the authentic Tiki Village.
From Moorea, travel to iconic Bora Bora. This small island northwest of Tahiti is one of the most famous honeymoon destinations in the world. It is surrounded by sandy motu (islets) and rimmed by a coral reef. In many ways, Bora Bora is the jewel of the South Seas. The island offers activities for all manner of vacationer. Adventure seekers can hike Mount Otemanu, a dormant volcano at the island’s centre and feed sharks and rays in the sapphire waters of nearby lagoons. Lovers of leisure can relax and enjoy the endless beaches. Scuba dive, snorkel, and play all manner of water sports in the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Itinerary Day 1: Depart North America Connecting from your hometown to Los Angeles, board your flight to Papeete, the international airport of French Polynesia. Day 2: Tahiti to Moorea Arrive in Papeete where you are met and transferred to the domestic terminal for your short flight to the island of Moorea. You will be transferred to your hotel upon arrival in Moorea. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Accommodation: Intercontinental Moorea Resort and Spa Day 3-6: Moorea at Leisure Enjoy Moorea, the sister island of Tahiti. The natural beauty of this island is nothing less than breathtaking with its pristine secluded beaches, turquoise sea and lush mountains and valleys. Moorea maintains a small island feel and is known for its tranquility. The wide shallow lagoon that surrounds the island makes it a perfect destination not only for swimming but for snorkeling and scuba diving. You can do as much or as little as you’d like. Activities at your leisure include embarking on a circle island tour, afternoon sailing or snorkeling excursions, or you can dine out at a local restaurant in the evening. Meal Plan Breakfast Day 7: Moorea to Bora Bora Today, you will be met and transferred to Moorea Airport for your 50-minute scenic flight to the island of Bora Bora. Upon arrival in Bora Bora, you’ll be met by Goway’s representative and transferred to your hotel for the next 3 nights. Day 10: Bora Bora to Tahiti Transfer to the airport for your flight to Papeete and onwards to North America.
